Almost two months. Definitely too long. So I believe I have to start by yet again apologizing for my biggest absence to date. I know in my last post I promised some great idea but I kind of lost it, so if it ever turns up somewhere I'll let you know :)

In order to share my exciting news, we need to journey back to Friday, two very sunny days ago.
Oh how I miss the sun right now!
Anyways, to the story. So Friday was spent in Darling Harbour on an excursion to the not-so-inspiring careers expo. I left there with a few freebies and still a clueless mind as to my career path. But that is unimportant right now.
Okay, so for the past two weeks I had my eyes on these stunning boots, like my dream mix between those patent ankles with the heel and a doc. But I couldn't quite see myself wearing them again after my friends 16th, so I decided to go look elsewhere. And on Friday afternoon, I found these killers:

My new babies, these stunners made by siren. Not only are they to die for with their mega heel and platform, they are also the best bargain I've ever collected; $59.95 down from $189.95. Does life get any better?

This post was what I'd call a little more personal today, only because I felt that I must share this with you all. Tell me your thoughts, oh and get people to follow my blog yeah. As the new wardrobe starts kicking in for season, so too does the new layout for my blog.

So I've been kind of playing with different ways to plait my hair all holidays, and although I don't think I could pull this off, I am totally in awe of Lady Gaga. It's dead set amazing how she can get away with all these styles that I bet no one was taking notice of before her fame a year ago.

I'm also in awe of this stunning sequined dress that Kate Moss wore to a friends birthday. Even if the dress was ripping at the seams by the end of the night, I am just totally loving this ensemble from the shoulder pads to the black pumps.

It's been too long, and I'm feeling slightly clueless as to why, but here I am almost a month on.

Anyways, as I just finished first term, and the holidays are officially here, more blogging is in order. So let me deliver :)
Well, let's see, inspiration is at a major stand-still at the moment. It's basically the same shit all round making me happy. So why don't I just put up a few things that I love, because that's what I'm all about here, posting the things I love. Is that a little selfish? I don't know, I'm kind of hoping you love it too.

High Heeled Ankle Boots, while I might not own a pair, I've been stalking them like crazy.

Well they're my major fashion loves at the mo', yeah. Got to buy a few scarves I think, maybe a beret in a cream colour, and definitely more tees in general. Any suggestions?

Happiest day of my life yesterday, I bought high waist skinny jeans! I think my life is finally complete :)
Anyways, theme of today: smokers.
Because I think there's a time in every bloggers life when a post about smoking is required, and baby this is my time.
Not that I like smoking in particularly or anything, but I got inspired, mainly because I almost sat in ciggy ash today at the bus stop haha.

Today was pretty boring, and oh so cold for the middle of summer. So as I sit here in my uggs craving hot chocolate like crazy, I search through for editorials of love, what else? Teen Vogue is the source of today's fetish of photography and they've posted some lovely shots over the past few years. So everything's been feeling kind of ordinary of late.
I've been sitting at the computer now for more than a few hours now, searching through image topics trying to be inspired. I've been looking for images full of creativity and colour and I came to Alice in Wonderland, most likely my favourite story of all time. I love the costuming, and the locations and bet that there had to be some extraordinary photos out there based on the tale. I particularly fell in love with a set of shots from a december '03 Vogue editorial with Natalia Vodianova as Alice:
